Although our weekly meets during the winter at the Red Lion are always well attended it is a welcome change when the clock moves into BST and the weather warms up (a little). This evening saw upward of 50 bikes descend on the pub with a large number being BMRCO members on mainly Brit bikes. Quite a few regular “guests” attended, one of them on a beautiful Panther that has been in his family from new. Other venerable Brit bikes were a Sunbeam S7, early BSA Gold Star, 2 Norton Commandos, AJS 650 CSR, Velocette Venom Clubman, BSA A10 and A10 Super Rocket plus a plethora of Triumphs. A big strength of the club is the fact that we are not marque specific ensuring the meets are interesting. Ducatis, a modern Indian, Yam XT 500, Suzuki GSXR 750 and others added to the interest.
