The club’s Italian Guest Day was held in the garden of the Red Lion to a small, but none the less enthusiastic gathering. Sadly the weather played against us for the second year running (although not as badly as last year) which tended to limit the numbers. Very few machines had arrived at the starting time, but as the morning wore on more and more rolled in until by lunchtime there was a reasonable gathering. As might be expected mostly modern machines dominated the line up but with a few exceptions, a beautifully turned out MV four, a couple of Moto Guzzi singles and an Aermacchi to add interest.
The pub provided a BBQ, beer was drunk and stories told, all things considered quite a good day.
