Report by John Lay
“This years show took place on the weekend of the 25/26 April, and once again the BMRCO were in attendance. With a total of eight machines on display, ranging from the very old to the (relatively) modern, from small 118cc to the large 750cc, the clearly well used, to the clean and bright. In fact a good cross selection of the machines within the club.
Two items, to make this years event stand out. New for this year the show featured a “Restoration Theatre” presented by none other than our member and TV star Pete Thorne. The club also featured in the awards, with the 1914 Wall Auto-Wheel entered by John Heredge taking the 3rd. place in the “Best Veteran” class, who duly received his prizes from the show guests of honour the Jefferies brothers.
With both the machine owners and other club members to hand everyone was able to take time off from “manning the stand” so thanks to all who came along+.
NB. The club’s next display outing will be at the VMCC Banbury Run on 21st. June. A limited number of bike passes and free entries will be available, see John or Geoff on club nights.
