Norton factory visit – Wednesday May 22nd

(As those of you who have read my blog know) I recently spent a couple of hours being shown around the Norton factory at Donington and very much enjoyed the experience. The UK sales and Service manager has kindly agreed to repeat this for us as a club. Norton will soon be moving their operation to Donington Hall and they will have their hands full and it is really interesting to see them at this early stage. Their operation is small but hugely enthusiastic and seeing the guys assembling engines etc is great. They are entirely open with no restriction on what you see and photograph.

I have set a tentative date of Wednesday May 22nd for this visit and the “tour” should begin at 10.30.

To make it worthwhile we really need to get a group of 8 people together and suggest that the 102 mile trip is made in 2 cars as there are a number of members who either would not wish to ride that far or no longer ride. However the travel aspect can be discussed further.

Contact me for further information or to book a place.

The visit went ahead as planned and was a big success with all 14 suitably impressed. Once again many thanks Sean (UK Sales and Service Manager) for finding time in your busy schedule.
